All money raised starts with keeping our program up and running. Bus transportation to the beautiful Coventry Lake from EO Smith is one of our most significant fall club expenses—Regatta racing fees to enter competitions. Year-round, we have repairs and maintenance costs for our older racing shells, including hardware, parts, and fiberglass repair kits, all necessary to keep our boat in the best condition possible.
We need a new (to us) 5-person racing shell to be able to race in the spring competitively. Brand new racing shells for our team are entirely out of our price range, but with the combined efforts of all of our fundraising the past few years, we, hopefully, will be able to purchase an older, gently used model that will upgrade our current 5-person racing shell to fit our needs.
Our families and athletes had such a fantastic experience last year at Applebee's Mansfield that it has become one of our most requested fundraisers!
