Since 2008, T.L. Cannon launched our partnership with six different “Make-A-Wish” chapters in Upstate New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Our company has since raised over $1.2 million through fundraising efforts and in-kind support.

To raise funds our restaurants host large fundraisers twice a year; one during the Winter holiday season and another during early Spring—selling items such as star magnets, souvenir drink cups, and dessert gift tags. In the past, our restaurants have held dress-down days and breakfast with Santa Claus to help raise additional funds. We also host a Make-A-wish golf tournament in Rochester every summer and donate to the Make-A-Wish volleyball tournament in Connecticut, amongst other events we help sponsor and donate to.

Our Applebee’s locations are also proud to frequently host special “wish dinner” celebrations for wish children and their families.

“Make-A-Wish” is an incredible organization that grants wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses and urges us all to share the power of a wish. Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation’s mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors and entire communities.
