November 10th, 2009

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar restaurants across New York State and Connecticut are thanking U.S. veterans and active duty military for their service to our country this Veterans Day. On Wednesday, November 11 only, current and former servicemen and servicewomen are invited to come to Applebee’s for a great meal and heartfelt “thanks”… absolutely free. With gratitude for their service and sacrifice, warm wishes and hot food will flow from lunchtime through the dinner hours for dine-in guests.

On Veterans Day only, veterans and those on active duty with proof of United States military service can choose one free entrée from the following options:

“On Veterans Day and every day, it’s important that we stop and appreciate those who serve or have served our country,” said Stephanie Griffin, director of marketing and public relations, T.L. Cannon Companies. “For us at Applebee’s, offering free meals to current and former servicemen and women is just one thing we can do to say ‘thanks’. We look forward to serving our country’s heroes this Veterans Day.”

All Applebee’s locations across the U.S. are also taking part.
